Oscar was a really good person.  My dad and he used to sit out on the picnic table during the summers months and talk for hours while drinking coffee.   Yes,  Oscar was just a really down to Earth good person.  Now he and my dad are somewhere in heaven having coffee and continuing that conversation.

Oscar was a very good neighbor to my parents right across the street.  My dad (Paul Giambeluca) really enjoyed just sitting out front of the house talking to Oscar.  

We have truly lost the "Mayor " of our neighborhood,, he was such a 
 kind hearted person, always a smile on his face, a hug, loved to tease, loved to tell stories,,, I remember how he, my neighbor Gary, and hubby Paul sat on lawn chairs in the yard watching me paint the window frames,, they were laughing. Paul would say , you better work faster, if your getting paid by the hour your in trouble,, then they all had a good laugh about it,,  Oscar and Paul spent many, many enjoyable hours together, were more like brothers than friends,, he will be missed by all of us,, Our  sympathy to all of his family

I grew up across the street from Oscar and his family for many years.  I remember when I was about 8 years old,  I fell off my bike and cut my foot real bad because I was bare foot.  Oscar came running across the street and picked me up and ran back to his house.  He and Big Ann (is what we always called Ann his wife)  doctored me back to health.  My hero   I will always remember him saying "Hello Neighbor".  One other thing he would always say is "my refrigerator is your refrigerator".  Always very generous and friendly.     RIP Neighbor. Oscar will always be remembered  as the kindest, most warm-hearted  man you could meet.   Telling stories and just loving to visit with you and spend time with you.  We will always remember  his laugh, his conversations and his caring love.  With our deepest  sympathy to all his family  which have been our family throughout the years.

There could never have been a better man, brother, and friend than our dear Oscar. 
He was truly a carbon copy of his wonderful mother and father and walked the path of our Lord. 
It is so sad to see him leave; but, we find comfort in knowing he now walks with God.

It was a pleasure to grow up listening to Mr Garzas stories he always had a smile that was welcoming. I remember when he found out I was carrying my son his exact words were u need to eat or you won't have no strong baby lol. I used to talk to him on his after super walks until he fell ill, I will miss you my friend and it was a pleasure to know you. The neighborhood will never have a kinder more friendly person.

I am so sorry for you loss . Mr Garza was always so cool he always made me laugh always had a good disposition, I will be praying for you all . I am so sorry, 

My condolences to the family and friends.  Oscar was a favorite neighbor and I will miss having our porch chats.  Goodbye my friend.
