.Pamela Cabrera, 57, of Rockford, passed away at her home on Monday, July 4. Pamela was born on September 3, 1953, she was the daughter of John and Doris Jean Cabrera. Pamela was a lover of animals, especially her Chihuahuas, she enjoyed learning to play the guitar, and studying history. Left to share in her memory is; her father, John Cabrera of Rockford, her siblings; Kirby (Brenda) Cabrera of Villa Ridge, MO, E. Alicia (Tom) Meyer of Roscoe, Steve (Denise) Cabrera of Roscoe, Brent (Ken) Cabrera of Rockford, and Julie (Tim) Black of South Beloit, several nieces , nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother; Doris Jean Cabrera, and special friend, Dolores Ferguson. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 11, a 2 p.m. at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 7000 W. State St. Rockford, 61102. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
