Raymond Perkins, age 73, of Beloit, Wisconsin passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. He was born March 4, 1952 in California to Joyce Sarver. Raymond worked for many years as a Service Technician for gasoline companies, working on the gas pumps. He married the love of his life, Mary Osborne on March 4, 1971 in Rockford, Illinois.
Raymond enjoyed drag racing, playing golf, and football. He loved bowling and coaching softball. When he and Mary were younger they enjoyed going on cruises to the Caribbean.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Perkins; children, Karen (Steve Dunham) Hicks and Ronald Lee (Rachael Thomas) Perkins; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings, Ronnie Coon and Randall Coon.
He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Michael Perkins; parents; and brother, Gene Coon.
A graveside service for Raymond will be held on Wednesday, April 23 at 10:45 AM at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 8800 N Alpine Rd., Machesney Park, Illinois 61115.
