

Richard Gonzales Jr, a devoted family man and passionate Dallas Cowboys fan, peacefully passed away at his home in Rockford, IL. Born in Laredo, TX to Richard Gonzales Sr. and Justina Gonzales, Richard spent most of his life in Rockford, where he built a loving family and a fulfilling career.
Richard's love for the Dallas Cowboys was unmatched, and he proudly carried the spirit of the team with him throughout his life.
Professionally, Richard dedicated his career to driving semi-trucks locally in Rockford. His commitment and hard work were evident in everything he did.
Above all, Richard cherished his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Marian, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Their love was a beacon of strength and support.
Richard's legacy lives on through his son, Richard Gonzales III, and his daughter, Christina Gonzales-Buyak. He was a loving and guiding presence in their lives, instilling in them the values of love, perseverance, and loyalty.
Richard's memory will also be cherished by his grandchildren, Jayden, Tommy, Anthony, Matthew, Amilia, Audrianna, Zoey and Richard Gonzales IV. He treasured every moment spent with them, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love.
In addition, Richard leaves behind his great-grandchildren Jayden Jr. and Aria, who brought immense joy and happiness into his life.
A Mass will be held to celebrate Richard's life on Friday, September 15th at 2:00 pm at St. Anthony Church in Rockford, IL. After Mass, there will be a get together at 705 Montague Street, Rockford, IL 61102 in remembrance. This will be a time for family, friends, and loved ones to come together and honor Richard's memory.
