Robert Leroy McClure, 73, of Rockford, died on September 20, 2010 in his home. Born August 9, 1937 in Sheffield, AL the son of Barney and Anniebell (Romans) McClure. Married Juanita Craig in Rockford on June 14, 1956. Worked as a Tool and Die Maker for Welliver & Sons. Robert enjoyed hunting, NASCAR and fishing. Survived by his wife of 54 years, Juanita McClure; daughters, Linda Slavings of Rockford and Marinda Hillers-Dalcollo of Muscle Shoals, AL; grandchildren, Tim and Zachary Hillers, Christopher and Joey Slavings and Nikki McClure; several brothers and sisters. Predeceased by his parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Funeral services at 1 pm on Thursday, September 23, 2010 in Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 7000 W. State St. Burial in Willwood Burial Park. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the McClure Family.
