

Ronald “Pat” Dodge, 79, of Rockford,Il died Wednesday, April 6, 2016, in his home. Born March 17, 1937 in Lima, Ohio to Harold and Margaret (Agler) Dodge. He married his loving wife, Sherry Turpen and together shared 57 years while raising their three children. Pat was a champion fisherman, and hosting his annual family and friend fish fry was the highlight of the year. Monday nights were reserved for the card club and pitch was the game. Pat belonged to the LLL’s Club where he gathered socially and played euchre. During March madness you would find him cheering for Ohio State. Family and friends made up the fabric of his life. The family would like to extend their gratitude to OSF Hospice nurses, Julie, Marilyn and Michelle and to cardiologist Dr. Hiser.
Survivors: wife, Sherry; children, Brian, Terry (Julie), Stacy (Don) Akers; grandchildren, Ben, Andrea, Aaron, Kaitlyn, Calvin; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Elizabeth, Emily; sister, Ruby Klingler. Predeceased by parents; sister, Donna; brother-in-law, Dick Klingler; nephew, Rick Klingler.
