Stephen William Mazeika, 45, of Rockford, passed away on July 24, 2011 in his home. Born October 22, 1965 in Rockford the son of Glenn and Judith (Hougan Helton) Mazeika. Graduated from Harlem High School in 1983. Married Johnny Janelle Miles on April 3, 1984 in Rockford. He worked at Johnson Press for 12 years and was a member of Interdenominal Church of Tennessee. Survived by his children, Jennifer and Stephanie Mazeika and Tyler Pixler; mother, Judith (Jerry)Hougan Helton; step-mother, Rae Ann Mazeika; grandchildren, Shakria, Drece, Adam, Malik and Jeremiah Mazeika; siblings, Michael Mazeika, Julie Mazeika, Bridgette Banter, Glenn Mazeika Jr., Tonya Tolzmann, Jeremy Helton, Skye Mays and loads of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife, Johnny Miles Mazeika and father, Glenn W. Mazeika. A Memorial service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at St. Bridget Church, 600 Clifford Ave. Cremation rites have been accorded.
