Susan "Sam" Saladino, age 64, of Loves Park, Illinois passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022. Sam was born in Freeport, IL on October 16, 1958 to Russell and Maevis Hoefle. Sam graduated from Freeport High School in 1976. She had worked at Pioneer Life, Western States, and Blue Cross Blue Shield and other companies. Sam left the work industry in 1994 to remain home and care for her children. On May 21, 1988 Sam married the love of her life James Saladino.
Sam is survived by her husband, James Saladino; children, Zachary, Matthew, and Samantha; brothers, Timothy Hoefle and Richard Hoefle; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Alexander; parents Russell and Maevis Hoefle.
A Private Inurnment will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
