Teresa Strathman, age 67, of Rockford, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. Teresa was born in Kokomo, Indiana on September 11, 1955 to Rubye Townsend-Klaman. In 1973 Teresa graduated from Harlem High School. She went on to become an Art Teacher at Halstrom Academy. Teresa truly loved art, she spent a lot of her free time painting and taking care of her children.
Teresa is survived by her children, Elmer "Rocky" Strathman III and Ashley Elizabeth Strathman; mother, Rubye Townsend-Klaman; siblings, Sydney Klaman, Billye J. Goeke, Brenda L. Rowe, and Bryan R. Klaman. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Klaman.
Private Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
