Thomas Long, age 65, of Rockford, IL, passed away on May 14, 2026. He was born on October 25, 1960, in Rockford, IL, to Norma Ruggles and Thomas Long. He will be remembered for his love of fishing, the Green Bay Packers, avid motorcycle rider, and his dogs Jackson and Shylee. He is survived by his wife Janie Long, son Zak Long (daughter in law Carley Long), daughter Amber Hitchcock, grandson Xavier Hitchcock, Alfredson family, and brother Dean Long. Cremation and a service will be held at a later time for close family.
