Timothy E. Roberts

Timothy was born in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Clarence Eldon and Dorothy (Jenkins) Roberts. Timothy married his high school sweetheart Bonnie J. Crotser on April 7, 1973. Timothy loved camping, fishing and hunting with his family, he was an avid NASCAR fan with his favorite driver being Tony Stewart. Timothy coached T-Ball, baseball and football and worked for NARCO for 25 years and drove a school bus for Newaygo Public School.

Timothy is survived by his loving wife Bonnie; sons Brandon Scott (Shawnna) Roberts and Chad Eric (Monica) Roberts; mother Dorothy Roberts; brothers Dave (Carol) Roberts and Paul (Donna) Roberts; grandchildren Cody, Cameron, Christian, Michell, Cyle, Gavin, Sawyer, Ryan and Madisyn; father-in-law Eldon Crotser and mother-in-law Betty Storey; brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews; close family friends Joshua and Jennifer Pettit.

Timothy was preceded in death by his father Clarence.

A memorial service to celebrate Timothy’s life will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday August 8, 2015 at North Park Church of Christ 7620 Elm Ave. in Machesney Park, IL with a luncheon to follow. Advantage Funeral Home in Rockford is assisting the family with arrangements.
