Violet Lenora Rowell, 81, of Rockford, went to be with Jesus on January 28, 2017. Born August 3, 1935 in Palermo, ND. Daughter of Charlie and Leona Severance. Violet is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Mildred (Duane) Burr, Leonard, Raymond, Leon (Roxy) Clayton (Olga), Lester (Jeanette); daughter, Veronica Hamik. Survived by her husband, Carl Rowell; children, Vanessa (Raymond) Perkins, Valerie (Les) Hoy and Scott (Silvana) Hilger; sister, Myrtle (Arvel) Woessner; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; step-children, Paula (David) Leggett, Danny (Jeannie) Rowell, Robbie Rowell, Denise (Jonathan) Runestad; 9 step grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. And her special dog and baby, Joey. Violet attended Riverside Assembly of God in Rockford, IL. Every Life Violet touched is a life changed.
