Warren T. Hungness Sr.

Warren T. Hungness Sr. 64, of Pecatonica, lost his courageous battle and went to be with the Lord on February 25, 2011 in his home. He was born in Stoughton, WI on January 15, 1947 to Marshall and Francis (Bertoli) Hungness. He is survived by his devoted wife, Judy, of 43 years. He was a great father to their three children; Kathy, Warren Jr. and Jason. Warren Sr., also was a cherished mentor to his grandchildren; Erika, Steven, Daulton, Mandie, Kasey, Olivia, Kaityn, Brandon and Billy, Nick and Raechel. Warren was a very strong Christian and a member of the Pecatonica Baptist Church. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era and was a Decorated Veteran. He loved being a family man, Christian, fishing, hunting, The Beatles and Bret Farve. During his extremely difficult medical struggles, he always was positive and cracking jokes to lighten the mood. His love for his wife, Judy kept him going. A special Thank you to VNA Hospice & Palliative Care. Visitation will be Tues, March 1, 2011 from 4-6pm with Memorial Service to follow at 6 pm at the Pecatonica Baptist Church, 819 Washington St. in Pecatonica, Ill.
