Zavar Montaye Malone Purifoy, 35, departed this earthly life on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at his home. Born in Rockford, IL on April 27, 1980 to Donald and Ada (Purifoy) Malone. Zavar loved his Lord and his Bible. He was a servant to many leading them spiritually by his words and scripture. He worked at RU as a housing clerk where he had a spiritual connection with others. He was young in spirit, always playing with his nieces and nephews, three of which he lovingly cared for daily as if they were his own. Zavar would have been a wonderful father, no training needed. He had cared for close family, friends and children, kids just took to him. He was a big kid at heart. He frequently visited churches; North Love Baptist Church,
Ebenezer Baptist Church and St Luke Missionary Baptist Church. Zavar was a mamma’s boy; he loved, cherished and cared for his mom. They prayed together all the time, bringing them closer to our Heavenly Father. He was and always will be her big baby.
He's gone only in flesh but his memories will live on and will never be forgotten.
