Ann Marie Bolduc

BANGOR- Ann Marie (Delisle) Biggar-Bolduc was born on February 29, 1932, to Arthur and Evelina Delisle. She was born in Littleton, New Hampshire, and moved to Rumford, Maine at a very young age, where she spent much of her life.

Ann was predeceased by her parents; her first husband, Leslie M. Biggar; and her second husband, Richard Bolduc.

She was one of seven children. She was predeceased by her brothers John, Arthur, and William. She is survived by her brothers Maurice of Arizona, Robert of Washington State, and Dennis of California.

Ann is also survived by her five daughters: Judy and her husband Terry Long, Janet and her husband Thomas Dwyer, Joan and her husband Don Dudley, Joyce Banville and her partner Richard Potvin III and Jane and her husband Ted Wandishin.

Ann was the proud grandmother of eight granddaughters and three grandsons, as well as six great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters. She also cherished her many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

In her younger years, Ann enjoyed cooking, sewing, and knitting. Around the holidays, family and friends always looked forward to the delicious fudge she lovingly made and generously shared. She also treasured the special friendships she formed throughout her life, including Mike, Julie, Joan, and Jean.

Ann has gone home to be with the Lord, reunited with loved ones who went before her, where she now rests in eternal peace. Her greatest joy was the love she shared with her family and friends, and her life was a beautiful example of kindness, grace, and quiet strength. She had a special way of making everyone feel deeply loved, and her familiar words, “I love you more,” became a lasting reminder of the boundless love she carried in her heart. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her. May we honor her memory by living with the same compassion, faith, and love she so generously gave throughout her remarkable 94 years. And whenever we say, “I love you more,” may we remember her with gratitude, warmth, and love.

Ann’s visitation will be held on Thursday, August 6th from 4-6PM at Thibault Remembrance Center, 250 Penobscot Street, Rumford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday August 7th at 10:00AM at St. Athanasius Church, 126 Maine Avenue, Rumford. Her burial will follow immediately after at St. John's Cemetery.
