It's been 10 days now since mom passed and I miss her so much but I am glad she is free of her body that constricted her so badly the past 4+ years. I feel I got a sign from her last thursday as my brother and I were riding atv's. A beautiful deer with antlers in velvet appeared to the side of me and it actually ran along side me for 50 yards or so before jumping across the trail right in front of me and went into a small field where it turned and looked at my brother and me. When my father in law passed 11 years ago I got my first really nice deer ever right after his death. Both times it was actually almost unnatural. You had to be there. Anyway, rest in peace mom. I love you.

Anne was my aunt and a wonderful presence in my youth. I have many fond memories of the Mayo & Henry families hanging out & having fun! My long time passion for sewing was sparked by Anne, and she will always be a presence in my life. My condolences to all my cousins on the loss of a wonderful mother, though she is certainly not "lost" in your hearts. It takes no effort for me to remember her laugh, and I can certainly see her smiling down on you all now!
