

She was born in Jay, Maine on July 18, 1946 the daughter of the late Henri and Beatrice (Demers) Binette.
Annette’s home was Horizon’s Unlimited in Rumford, ME from the mid 1970’s until the time of her death. She passed at home surrounded by her biological family as well as her Horizon’s family. She had a life that was very well lived and spent her days at The Hope Association in Rumford, which was her home away from home. She was also cherished by all her knew her and will be remembered with love.
Annette attended Pine Tree Camp, went Whale Watching, to the beach, loved her snow mobile rides, doing crafts and spending time with family and friends. Annette also loved to color. Her favorite color was purple. She was a “lady” who loved fashion. Especially having her hair done as well as her nails. Her favorite past time was watching Carol Burnett. She was very fond of a monkey blanket and a special “birthday” bear. Annette loved the Horizon family pets, a guinea pig and a “Black Cat”. She also enjoyed visiting local farms and loved holding the animals which included snakes.
Annette, a beloved soul who touched many lives will be missed by many and will be forever in our hearts.
Annette was predeceased by her parents, her grandparents, close family, Willie, Armand, Arthur, Leo, Rita, Florence and her special friend Bill with whom she shared a special bond.
The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the staff at Horizon’s Unlimited and Hope Association. The care that was provided to Annette over the years was second-to-none. Annette lived an amazing life thanks to these people. “Thank You” will never seem like enough.
A Mass of Christian Burial honoring Annette's life will be celebrated on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Holy Savior Church in Rumford. Committal Services will then follow at 2:00 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery in Livermore Falls. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Annette's memory to Horizon's Unlimited, 319 Swain Road, Rumford, Maine 04276. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 9:00 AM till 10:30 AM at Thibault Remembrance Center, 250 Penobscot Street in Rumford, 207-364-4366.
