

Born in Rumford on August 8, 1926, she was the daughter of Albert and Nellie (Howe) Roche.
She was a graduate of Stephens High School, class of 1944 where she excelled in sports and was a cheerleader. She was married to Albert Bouffard who died November 9, 1981.
In the 1950’s she was Head Majorette for the LeParesseux Club Drum Corps. She also worked part time for the Little Folks Shop in downtown Rumford and Emery’s Fashions in Farmington. Barbara was co-owner of Bouffard’s Furniture Store of Rumford with her two daughters.
Mom enjoyed cooking, especially making her famous “Aunt Barbara’s Whoopie Pies”. She loved needlepointing, jigsaw puzzles, crosswords puzzles, and any chance she could get to go to Las Vegas, Atlantic City, or Foxwoods. She loved the slot machines. Most of all, she loved her family.
Barbara is survived by her two daughters Connie Morgan (Bob) and Joan Bouffard Folsom; grandchildren Troy Morgan and Barbara Morgan.
She was predeceased by her husband Albert, son Tim, son-in-law Jim Folsom and “best friend” cousin Bunny Jarvis.
A Memorial Mass will be held 1 pm Thursday, March 24th at the St. John’s Parish of the Holy Savior Church, 126 Maine Avenue, Rumford.
