Brenda J. Desroches

She was born to Priscilla and Charles Daigle on January 10, 1959 in Rumford, Maine. Born tenth out of twelve siblings and graduating in 1977.

On February 20th, 1982, she married her Hunny and the love of her life, Ernie Desroches. They enjoyed each others company anywhere they went, around the campfire, challenging each other in a few nightly games of cribbage, always ended in dancing down the hall maybe straight up the stairs-bouncing off the wall, floating on air, baby why don’t we just dance.

Brenda, Ernie, and Rumford Hospital rang in the next near year, celebrating their New Year’s Baby Boy, born January 1983, Matthew. Their family completed and welcomed their daughter, Angela, in October 1988.

Children, current and past, would joyfully run up for a hug, “Teacher Brenda!” Where she worked at (Chisholm) Community Concepts in Rumford, working with preschool children.

Brenda & Ernie have always opened their door to family and friends-always available for a cup of coffee, a glass of wine on Wednesdays, or meet her at the ‘The Bush’ for storytelling & singing with family on the weekends.

She is predeceased and welcomed by her parents, Priscilla & Charles Daigle, Brothers Charles & Robert, and Sister Judith.

Brenda is survived by her Husband Ernie Desroches, Son Matthew & Rachel Desroches, Daughter Angela Desroches & Michael Eckstein of Standish. Grandchildren, Dylan and fiance Cassandra Roy, Lindsey, and Natalie Desroches, and great-grandson, Miles.

She will greatly missed by her best friends and sisters Susan & Lee Hutchinson, Karen & Ralph Madero, Barbara & David Dyke, Cheryl & George Hebert, brothers Gary & Pam Daigle, Greg Daigle, Brad & Denise Daigle, and James & Dolly Daigle-along with the entire family of nieces & nephews.
