Rumford, ME - On November 11, 2025, we said goodbye to Cynthia Ann Shaw, a woman whose kindness, strength, and gentle presence enriched the lives of everyone around her. Cynthia lived with a loving heart and a quiet resilience, offering comfort and support to those who needed it most.
She leaves behind her siblings, Donna Frizoli, Norman Fournier, Janet Curato, Barbara Gallant, Mike Fournier and Tom Fournier as well as two sons, David Shaw and Andy Shaw, who cherished her deeply and who will forever carry her warmth, her wisdom, and her unwavering love. They want to thank those who offered support during this hectic time with tremendous gratitude and love.
Cynthia was predeceased by her grandson Nickolas Shaw, her parents Mary Lou and Aimee Fournier, and Bev Mann, her favorite aunt. Though her passing leaves an ache that cannot be measured, her spirit lives on in the memories she created and the lives she touched.
Cynthia’s life was a gift, her memory a blessing, and her love will remain with us always.
There will be no formal service. Cindy would be honored if anyone who wished to say goodbye would instead perform a random act of kindness for someone they love. She loved doing this for her own loved ones and truly believed it made a difference in the world.
