Born in Keene, NH on May 31, 1954, he was the son of Donald and Velma (Richardson) Murdock Sr. He graduated from Keene High School with the Class of 1972.
He was a registered hunting guide both in Maine and New Hampshire. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and all around outdoorsman. Donald was a highly skilled archer and spent many years working with both the young and the old, teaching them the intricacies of archery. He was known to his hunting clients as the “Bear God.” He enjoyed his many hunting trips all over and his adventures on the Allagash River.
He is survived by his companion Christina Gestaut of Rumford; a daughter Andrea Murdock of Troy, NH; a son Keith Murdock of Keene, NH; a granddaughter Mackenzie Bedard; three step children, Erin Porter and her husband Seth, Chad Balcom, and Jesse Balcom; a sister Julie Wheeler; an uncle and aunt, Richard and Beverly Murdock, and their two children John and Judy.
