Helen Marie Berube, 71, of Mexico, died Feb. 13, at 4:02am at Androscoggin Hospice, Lewiston, ME. She was born May 3, 1949 in Lowell, MA and grew up with loving foster mother Margaret White of Reading, MA. She is one of 17 siblings many surviving, oldest brother Raymond Marchand and wife Christine of Methuen, MA., brother Leo Lebouef and wife Lauren of Reading, MA., and foster brother Richard Malpera of Middleton, MA.
She has three surviving children, daughter Renee' Karvelas and fiancé Joe CaraDonna of Ft Lauderdale, FL., son Jason Berube of Mexico, ME., daughter Jennifer Gleason and husband Scott Gleason of Williamsville, VT., and two grandchildren Nicole Karvelas of L.A, CA., and Harmony Gleason of Williamsville, VT.
She was a longtime resident of both Mexico and Dixfield, ME. She enjoyed being with family and friends, feeding/watching the birds and loving her cat Tigger. The color yellow, sunflowers and hummingbirds were some of her favorite things. All her life she had strong faith in the lord.
