She was born in Mexico, Maine on January 7, 1936 a daughter of Desire J. and Evelyn E. (Strout) Duguay.
Hilda was educated in Mexico schools. She was employed at Diamond Match for several years and Wyeth Laboratories in Pennsylvania for 21 years.
Hilda resided in Pennsylvania for many years and returned to Birch Street in Dixfield in 1998.
She loved dancing with her companion Tom and was dancing right up until about two weeks ago.
Hilda also loved traveling with her brother Thurl and his wife Joan, and spending time with family in North Carolina.
Surviving are her companion and dance partner Thomas Abraham of Auburn; four brothers; Robert M. Duguay and wife Gertrude of Carthage, North Carolina, Thurl Duguay and wife Joan of Rumford, ME, Kenneth E. Duguay of Rumford, and Ray Duguay and wife Jackie of Mexico; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Ray Rouleau, sister Theresa Lorraine Buck, and brothers, Joseph Desire, Pearley Duguay and Lewis Duguay.
The family would like to thank Dr. Nicholette Erickson and Dr. Dieter Kreckel and the nurses from Androscoggin Home Health for all of their help and support.
