Jean Boutin McQuade of Rumford, passed away March 20, 2018 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Jean was born on July 8, 1926 in Boston, MA. Jean was raised in Plymouth, MA. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Boston University. There she met and married fellow student, James Harold McQuade, Sr. They settled in Rumford and had Insurance and Travel agencies throughout Maine. They had four children: Maureen and her partner Roger Michaud of The Villages, FL, Joel of Rumford, ME, James Jr. and his wife Terry of Silt, CO, Michele and her husband Bill Kelley of Waterville, ME, and two Grandchildren, Ryan James of Sidney Australia, and Sarah Joan of Silt, CO. Jean was predeceased by her husband and by her sister, Ruth Boutin Wagner of Plymouth, MA. Jean thoroughly enjoyed her longtime membership in the Searchlight Club of River Valley.
