He was born in Mexico Maine on December 24, 1940 a son of Desire J. and Evelyn (Strout) Duguay.
Louie was employed at several different manufacturing companies for many years and later was self employed as a scrap metal dealer.
He was an avid motor cycle enthusiast and loved his red Harley Davidson trike.
Louie loved hunting and fishing, playing poker, bingo and going to the casinos.
He most of all loved spending time with his family.
Surviving are his wife of 14 years Rosanna (Fortier) Duguay of Mexico; nine children, Betty Cioffa and fiancé Jeff of Rumford, Beverly Tuttle and husband Bill of Mexico, Tina Poirier and husband Louie of Mexico, Troy Duguay and wife Andrea of Rumford, Corey Duguay and wife Denise of Mexico, Lisa McCarthy and husband John of Vernon, CT, Rita Bennett of Willington, CT, Francis Bennett Jr. of Chaplin, CT, and Ann Bennett of Ellington, CT; a sister Hilda Rouleau of Rumford; four brothers, Robert Duguay and wife Gertrude of No. Carolina, Thurl Duguay and wife Joan of Rumford, Kenneth Duguay and companion Andrea of Rumford, and Ray Duguay and wife Jackie of Mexico; and fifteen grandchildren, Bill Perry, Randi Cioffa, Amber Maurais, Laura Tuttle, Natarsha Tuttle, George Tuttle, IV, David Duguay, Louann Poirier, Kyle Duguay, Alexis Duguay, Taylor Duguay, Dylan Duguay, Amber Sallstrom, Matthew McCarthy, and Amanda McCarthy.
He was predeceased by his parents, a daughter Michelle Bennett, two brothers Desire Duguay Jr. and Perley Duguay, and a sister Theresa Duguay.
