Falmouth – Lorraine M. Arsenault, age 81, formerly of Weld St. Dixfield, died November 2, 2009 at Sedgewood Commons in Falmouth, following a long illness. She was born in Rumford, Maine on October 27, 1928 a daughter of Peter and Dorilda Arsenault. Mrs. Arsenault was a communicant of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church. She was past president of the VFW Ladies Auxillary, a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, the American Legion Auxillary, and the Le Parasseux Snow Shoe Club. Lorraine will be remembered as a fun loving lady with a great smile, and someone who loved country music and dancing. Surviving are her daughter, Jeannette Mason of Harpswell; her daughter in law Lisa Arsenault of Portland; a sister, Theresa Gautreau; a brother, Raymond Arsenault of Florida; five grandchildren, Heather Huff and Shane Mason, Jennifer Murphy, and Stacey, and Leah Arsenault; and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Robert L. Arsenault in 1984, a son, Robert D. Arsenault in 2003, and two brothers, Fred and Joseph Arsenault.
