Dear Austin family,

I am sorry for your loss. I was thinking of Louise this morning. I didn’t know of her passing. I wanted to thank her for all of her help in 1982. Because of the seed she planted for me, I am still doing what she taught me! I will be forever grateful. Kate Shorey Kelly

My deepest sympathy to you, David. You and Louise have been a part of my life for over 30 years. I think back at some of the memories Wes and I shared with you both from “the wall”, birthday parties, Maine state music shows, Heidis deli lunches, and Panera bread afternoon chats, crowded humid swim meets, and many many more visits too numerous to count. I will cherish these memories forever.

I can't express the heartbreak I am feeling with Louise's passing. The Austin's were a very important family in my families life. Louise was one of my favorite teachers. But for me, she was the person who helped me to get my start in life. I could never thank her enough for all she did for me and who I became in life. She showed me that even just moral support during a very important passage in life can go a long way for someone in their journey through their life. She was so kind to my Mom as her employee. She treated everyone with such respect and love. I am so blessed to have had her as a role model in my life. My deepest sympathy to the Austin Family.
