Maurice “Moe” Brann Maurice E. Brann, 50, passed away on February 12, 2020 at 12:30 pm after a 4 year battle with Lung Cancer. Maurice was born April 4, 1969 in Rumford, Maine. He was the son of Steve and Debbie Brann. He lived all of his life in Peru. Moe worked most of his life working in the woods, cutting and trucking wood. He worked several years with one of his best friends, at Knox’s loam and gravel as a truck driver. Moe loved fishing, hunting, ATV riding and spending time with his Dad, brother and friends. He is survived by his mother, Deborah Brann of Peru; sons, Allen McLean of Peru and Eric Holman of Peru; daughter, Sally Brann of Canton; grandson, Tucker McLean of New Hampshire; brother, Stacy Brann and wife Lisa Brann of Peru; sister; Rosanna Young of Peru, four nieces, four great nieces and three great nephews. He was predeceased by his father, both grandparents and two special people, his Uncle Isadore and Aunt Callie Brann. The family would like to thank Dr. Erickson and staff at the Oncology unit in Lewiston, and Dr. Jenson and staff at Radiology in Lewiston for over 3 years of wonderful service. A special thank you to Tammy Bean from Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice; He loved you. At the family’s request, services will be private.

Debbie and family, My sincere condolences. Moe, my former brother - law, was always a joy. He was pleasant and so comical. He is surely missed.You could tell that he and my cousin Mike Hoyt were related. Now they are both pain free and I hope they are catching up. <3 Debbie

Dave will always remember working with you on the roads and how every time you saw us you would ask me why was I still with “him” - I will never forget how you found me on the ground when the ladder came down and called 911 and stayed with me until they showed up ❤️
