He was born in Wilmington, Ohio on December 9, 1954 a son of Donald E. and E. Joyce (Barnes) Leonard.
Michael served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife of 35 years Anne Marie (Mansur) Leonard of Rumford; his mother E. Joyce Leonard of Glendale, AZ; daughters, Sarah J. White and husband Mike of Dixfield, and Sonia J. Conley and husband Dave of Rumford; a nephew-son Teddy Collins IV of New Hampshire; three sisters, Debbie Hardesty and husband Wayne of Glendale, AZ, Kathy Shafe and husband Steve of Reno, Nevada, and Donna Coffey and husband Jim of Phoenix, AZ; six grandchildren, Eric Michael, Ashlynn Elsie, Autumn Marie, David John, Chad Michael and Mason Michael-leonard; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, a brother John J. Leonard, and a nephew Cody J. Coffey.
