Born August 12, 1948, in Brunswick, Maine to Doris (Poulin) and Reginald Violette.
He graduated from Stephens High School in 1967 and joined the United States Air Force which he served in for 4 years.
Normand was married to Glenna (Tozier) on February 1, 1969, in Rumford, Maine.
Normand worked in the Car Parts Industry for over 40 years.
Normand is predeceased by his parents, his wife Glenna and his brother David.
He is survived by his daughter Shannon Glover and husband Brian of Rumford, daughter Erica Atkinson and husband Joshua of Dresden. Normand also leaves behind his grandchildren Logan Hamner of Rumford, Kennedy Tibbetts of Mexico, as well as his siblings Ron Violette and wife Carol of Rumford, Karen Brookhouse of Poland and Susan Chervenak of Lewiston.
In lieu of flowers we ask for donations to the Saint Vincent Depaul Organization through the Parish of the Holy Savior.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation for Normand on Thursday, September 3rd from 9AM to 10:30AM at Thibault Remembrance Center, 250 Penobscot Street, Rumford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated following the Visitation at 11AM at Parish of the Holy Savior, 126 Maine Ave, Rumford. Committal Prayers will follow at Farrington-Morton Cemetery in Mexico.
