Born In Rumford September 2, 1942 in Rumford, Bob was the son of Leo and Marie Paule (Baillargeon) Dumoulin. He attended Rumford schools and graduated in 1960 from Stephens HS. After HS Bob enlisted in the Army where he was a marksman/rifleman. He was extremely proud of his military service to our country. As a veteran, Bob was a lifelong member of the American Legion Post 24 in Rumford and was a supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project.
Following his military service, Bob became an electrician/linesman for Bell South (now AT & T) and for Irving Corporation. He was a hard worker and retired from both of these companies.
Bob spent most of his life in Maine. His favorite place on earth was his home on Worthley Pond where he lived from 1979 until needing 24/7 care due to advancing dementia in February 2021.
Bob was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, ATV riding and snowmobiling with his many friends. He liked to travel in his truck.
He had a huge heart of gold who loved his friends and family very much. He was wrapped around the little finger of his only niece Jane until her passing in 2014. He was always there to help his family and friends. Bob had a life fully well lived.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, brother Rev. Marcel Dumoulin, sister J. Louise Smith and niece Jane L Jacques. Survivors are his cousins and many friends.
