Alfred Earnest Roberts

 Alfred went peacefully from earth to glory on February 16, 2022 in Sacramento, CA.  He was born in Sanford, Florida on June 15, 1948.  Growing up, he played multiple sports, Baseball being his favorite and loved shooting pool.  He accepted  the Lord at a young age while attending St. James A.M.E. Church (Sanford, FL).  He was a 1966 Crooms High School graduate (Sanford, FL) and completed his Associate degree at Solano College (Fairfield, CA). He proudly served 23 years in the U.S. Air Force which took him on travels all over the world. He spent many years in California where he married, fathered 3 sons, and served the Lord faithfully.  He leaves to cherish his memory, wife Debra Roberts; daughter, Camille Salter; sons, Will Wilson (Medea), Alfred Roberts Jr., & Michael Roberts (Linda); 4 Grandchildren; brothers, Gregory Bodison & Frank Hicks II; sisters, Pam Byrd, Gwendolyn Jackson (Calvin), Sylvia Bodison, Yvonne Knight & Chathia Brown (Rodney).  He has one Aunt and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews & friends.  Celebration of his life will be March 12, 2022 in Sacramento, CA; in the care of North Sacramento Funeral Home 725 El Camino Avenue, Sacramento, CA  95815.
