“Gurmeet Kaur passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family after a long and courageous journey following a stroke 14 years ago. Since February, she had been receiving hospice care and remained a source of strength, resilience, and love to all who knew her.

She shared 75 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Joginder Singh, and together they built a loving family rooted in compassion, resilience, and devotion.

She was a loving mother to her four children — Amrik, Kulwant, Baldev, and Kashmir — and a deeply cherished grandmother to her grandchildren Ravinder, Sharan, Kirin, Harjot, Amrit, Arjen, Jasmine, and Simran. Her family was the center of her world, and she found her greatest joy in watching them grow up and thrive.

Gurmeet Kaur will be remembered for her kindness, quiet strength, unwavering love, and the warmth and laughter she brought into every room. Her legacy lives on through the family she nurtured and the memories they will carry forever.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.”
