My family and I send her prayers to this wonderful loving soul who has departed this world. May WaheGuru Ji cover her soul with his grace and light and guide her soul to heavenly bliss and may she find rest and peace.

When I first moved to Sacramento my first job in the city was at Mountain Mike's working with Shalini.

I knew absolutely no one out here and had no friends but Shalu immediately made me feel welcome and became one of the first people I met out here who I could comfortably call a friend.

I think her acceptance and happy attitude really made me feel like Sacramento wasn't all that bad and I'll always be grateful to have known her.

She will be forever missed and my heart goes out to her family and friends.

May God hold you close and let us never forget you. Let us keep your memory alive by changing laws. Rest in peace beautiful soul

Goodbye, dear sweet girl. You were like a daughter to me. You were the sweetest, kindest, most generous soul, always smiling and laughing. You lifted up all the people around you and brightened our lives. Everyone who knew you loved you. I will miss you terribly, as will my dog Lady, who loved you as much as you loved her. I will miss your daily visits. I hope you are at peace and in a better place. As we used to say “I will see you on the other side.”

My beautiful friend. Walking the dogs across the street from her apartment.

Sudesh Kumari, I am so deeply sorry for the heartbreaking loss of your daughter. No mother should ever have to endure such sorrow. Please know that many people in Sacramento who never had the privilege of knowing her personally have been touched by her story and are grieving with you. May you and your family find strength and comfort in the love and memories you shared with her.

Our hearts and prayers go out to Shalini Mother and family. She was a kind hearted loving person always at work and ready to serve. She was a very warm and loving person. Every visit at IHop she would always make you feel at home. You will be missed.
Go fly high my friend.

Shalini was one of the kindest souls I have known, full of joy and full of life. She helped me babysit my son when I was in need and going through a rough time. Life drifted us apart a few years back and even though we barely stayed in touch the memories we shared will forever be in my heart.
