Barbara R. Booth
August 7, 2019
It was the summer of 1965 when the Booth family met the Sang family. I had played with the kids during the day and invited my parents to meet the new neighbors at their house. Of course my parents assumed that the invitation came from Barbara and Jim- no just me. So we went down Berthold and a very surprised but welcoming Barbara and Jim met Betty and Harold. The four became good friends and had lots of good times playing Rook. I also became friends with Greg, Paul, Patrick, Kathy., Matthew and Laura. As an only child I was drawn to such a big active family. Barbara was like a second mom to me and I could go to her with anything. She and a Grandma Blaha made my wedding dress and it was beautiful. I will never forget the love that Barbara and Jim showed to us and how I loved being taken in to the family. I have nothing but good memories of Barbara and know she is at peace with her loved ones.
