Daniel P. Whalen, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Friday November 23, 2018 at the age of 62. Dear son of the late John J. and Eileen Whalen; dear brother of Kathleen (Ray) Naughton, Patty (Frank) McTigue, and the late John J. Whalen Jr. and the late Michael J Whalen. Dear nephew of Sr. Teresa Shea, the late Margaret Shea, the late Mary (the late Art) Lodes, and the late Timmy Shea; our dear uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend.

Memorial visitation Saturday December 1, 2018 from 1:00 PM until time of Memorial service at 2:00 PM Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary 6464 Chippewa St., St. Louis, MO 63109. Private burial service will be held at a later date.

I remember as a kid I’d call the Whalen’s house (on the old landline) to talk to Patty. Danny would answer the phone and would just chat away; he loved to gab! Always making jokes and laughing!
