I was so sorry to hear of Ed's passing. I worked at Jacobs from 2006 until he retired. We partnered on a lot of different things and he was always helpful, kind and would pitch in with whatever he could. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers to Ed's family.

I had the pleasure to work with Ed from 1999 until his retirement at Jacobs. I spent 3 years of my career in St. Louis and Ed was an absolute jewel to work with. He was always kind, humble, giving (especially of his candy bowl) and caring. He helped me out personally and professionally. My sympathy to Ed's family. Heaven just got a whole lot brighter! I want to express my sympathies to Ed's family.

I worked with Ed at Sverdrup/Jacobs for over 20 years. Whatever you needed him to do, he got it done. But Ed was not just timely and efficient, he was helpful, courteous, and caring. Ed was a real gentleman.

I was very saddened to hear of Ed's passing. My sympathies go out to all of his friends and family. I worked with Ed at Sverdrup/Jacobs for many years and always appreciated and respected him. He was always helpful and responsive, and would offer a friendly hello and smile every time I saw him. Not many folks can say they worked more than 57 years for a single company. It takes a special kind of person who believes in commitment and dedication, and that is one of Ed's qualities that he shared with us each and every day. Godspeed Mr. Brown, He will welcome you and reward you for the blessings you have shared with all of us.

I worked with Ed at Jacobs for just a few years, having missed the Sverdrup days, and I found him to be always kind and personable. We missed him when he retired, and now he'll be missed even more. The world will always be a better place with people like Ed in it. He was an imposing figure, I might add, but he had a gentle nature. God bless him.

On my first day at Sverdrup, many years ago, I was told, "When in doubt, ask Ed Brown." Many of us followed that wise advice, every day, for many years. Ed always knew where to go, what to do, or whom to ask. And always with a smile and pleasant attitude. So many of us relied on him for just about anything and everything. Truly a kind and gracious man. May he rest in peace, and may his family find solace.

I worked with Mr. Brown from 1977 until his retirement. He was always there when we needed him and always shared his kindness with everyone.

What a great man he was.

Godspeed Mr. Brown.

Ed was the epitome of a Sverdrup & Parcel Associate. He was always there with a floral arrangement from Walter Knoll to recognize and pay homage to an associate or their family members. We worked together for 42 years and shared many experiences and stories of the Sverdrup & Parcel organization. He was a wonderful person and genuine human being. May he rest in peace.
