John, Bob, Ed and Gene,
So sorry to hear about your dad. Gene always amazed me with his youthfulness. I was talking to Barb and she told me of his passing and appologized for not letting us know. We all have wonderful memories of him and your mom in that big house on Hawthorne. I never heard an angry word from him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I hope to follow Great Uncle Gene's example of love, citizenship, and a long life well lived. May God grant you the comfort of your family and friends.
