Filomena V. Osborne

Osborne, Filomena baptized in the hope of Christ’s resurrection on Feb. 11, 2015. Dear mother of Victoria Osborne; dear aunt of Joe Cusanelli Jr; dear cousin to Filomena (Cusanelli) Walker-Roth and loving godmother to Robert Bianco, Mary (Cusanelli) Ziegler, and Michael Waluska. Dear friend to many. "Fannie", as she was known to many, spent most of her life as a professional singer and actress, spending many summers at the Muny in St. Louis. She sang at Gaslight Square in its heyday. Her proudest achievement was making it to the Big Apple, having played in many musical theatre shows on Broadway including "Fiddler on the Roof" and "Call Me Madam." She toured with theatre shows across the country before coming back to St. Louis and finding a second career as a medical office manager, another career she loved passionately. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tues., Feb. 17. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Wed., Feb. 18 both at HOFFMEISTER COLONIAL MORTUARY, 6464 Chippewa.
