

Gray, Frank Edward Sr. passed away Saturday April 2, 2016. Frank was born May 23, 1923 in St Louis, MO, the son of William and Lillian (nee Egenriether) Gray. Frank proudly served the US Navy during World War II. His squadron was VPB-17. He worked with his brothers at the family business Gray's Service Station on Roger & Parker in South St Louis until it closed. He was a Boy Scout Master of Deaf Troop Central Institute. He loved to attend the Oshkosh Air Adventure every year. He continued to serve his country through the US Auxiliary Coast Guard and honoring the American Flag. Frank is survived by his son, Dan and his wife Rita (KY), daughter, Barbara and former son-in-law Tim (St Louis). Grandson Todd and wife Kristi (KY), Great-granddaughters Kirsten and Kalee (KY). Three stepgranddaughters Sherry, Kimberly, and Amy and their spouses. Seven step-great-grandchildren Amandalyn, Shelby, Elizabeth, Megan, Christian, Braiden, and Charlee. Many nephews, nieces and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years Azalia, his son Frank Jr, his parents William and Lillian Gray, his three brothers and one sister and their spouses. He was the last one of his generation.
