Past Commander of South St. Louis Memorial American Legion Post 37, Past 11th District Commander, Member of V.F.W. Post 1102 and Voiture Locale 38 of the 40 & 8. Fred was a member of General Douglas McArthurs’s body guard team and was aboard the U.S.S. Missouri for the Japanese surrender signing.
