Paul James Blackwood, 85, of Shrewsbury passed away peacefully on May 4, 2016. Loving husband of the late Gail "Vickie" Blackwood (nee Tentschert); Loving father of Renee (James) Hopkins (nee Blackwood) and the late Michelle Kuntz (nee Blackwood);Loving grandfather of Kyle Kuntz and Kory Kuntz; Loving great grandfather of Rory Smith; Loving brother of Albert Blackwood and Alice Blackwood of St. Petersburg, FL, and the late Clarence Blackwood; Loving uncle, brother-in-law, cousin and friend to many; Paul was a jack of all trades having numerous hobbies such as gardening, fishing, and wood working just to name a few. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm on Monday, May 9 with a Funeral Service on Tuesday, May 10 both at HOFFMEISTER COLONIAL MORTUARY, 6464 Chippewa. Burial at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery to follow after Funeral Service, on Tuesday, May 10. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Pets for Vets. He is greatly missed.
