I met Miss McGhan in 1976 when I was a seabee in the play, South Pacific at Roosevelt HS. She was a no-nonsense director and knew how to get a polished production out of a bunch of bewildered kids. I was also in another play she directed, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. She and Miss Brennan started up Storybook Players where we signed our plays for the deaf. She had a long-lasting affect and inspiration in my life.
