We were born 20 months apart to the day and as toddlers we were close. You were kind of like the big brother who watched over me. My fondest remembrance was the day your son was born. When I got the news that Renee' was on her way to the hospital, I ran from my house to Barnes Jewish Hospital only to miss his birth by minutes. Tom Jr. was born on my birthday August 23. How excited and proud I was.
When you became a Policeman for the SLPD, How proud I was to tell everyone you were my brother. You wore that Uniform with Pride.
I'll never forget the day I got married. Both you and Jerry stepped up and assumed the big brother role. You escorted me to the church and made me feel like a real princess that day. And Jerry escorted me down the isle, I couldn't have been any luckier.
While in your Tux you prepared all the food for my reception. You loved to cook and was quite good at it.
When my first born came along, you and Renee' were his God parents. Then years down the road our lives took different paths and we didn't see much of each other.
The news of your cancer was hard to hear but hearing it was terminal was devastating. On Tuesday July 23rd Rudy and I came to see you in the nursing home. That was the longest and most sincere conversation we had had ever. You were ready and expressed this. As my son and I left that day, there were tears in both our eyes because we could see the pain in your eyes that you were fighting and the once eight Majda children was now winding down to now six. I came a few more times only to find you sleeping, restless and in pain. I hated you being alone and wanted you to know someone was there. I knew it was to be a matter of a day or so.
Here you sit today with beside Mom and Dad and Jerry. Free of pain and what misery you may have endured here on earth. May you now rest in peace. Know I love you, always did and always will.
Your Sister, Marianne

I recall about Christmas time 1948 at four and half years old, mom walking up front steps to 2nd story of flat on Klock & Louisianna
bringing you, my third brother, home from St Anthony's hospital.
The 70 years, 7 months, 8 days since are filled with millions of memories of you at all times and ages til last day I held your hand
at 5pm Monday 29 July and said Goodbye Forever...and left to fly to
California early next morning. I knew you were in extreme pain as had been past weeks and months...and somewhat incoherent, but that you did know it was me.
Though your death was a blessing to you and all us because of the tremendous pain, the actual realization that you will never be with or see and talk to us again is of a shocking nature too hard to dwell upon, though constantly flashing in my mind.
I do believe though my mind unable to comprehend, that you are in eternity sharing love with God and Dad & Mom and Jerry and other family and loved ones who have passed before.
You were always there and giving energetically to me and others.
You were disaplined, organized, and most concerned and loving,
especially to your family...and we will never, ever forget you Thomas. I wish you happiness and peace and will pray for you daily...please talk to Jesus and Mary for us all here still on earth who are missing you so very much ! LOVE Always, Brother TINY.

Looking at all the pictures really showed how much you loved your family especially your grandchildren. Now the pain has ended for you uncle Tom and you can finally rest in peace. ❤

Dear brother, from top of the family tree to the bottom, I really found it hard to know who my older brothers really were until that special day, January 1, 2006. We drove together to Florida in a huge U-Haul and of all things a cat! We had a great time and I met a real great side of you I never knew until then. Thanks for the love over the years and the wonderful time we spent together this past year. I will treasure the memories forever. Peace and love to you in your future journey. Love your sister Joanne
