I didn’t know Carl for very long unfortunately... but long enough that he touched my life. We arrived at the same time at Sunray Dialysis (5:30 am) and he would open the door for me, even when I was slow getting there, and always greeted me with a cheerful “Good morning”. One time we were in the waiting room at the same time and he told about the farm he had. I will miss his kind presence.

I have many fond memories of the times we played cribbage. Carl never lost his temper when the cards didn't go his way. He was always willing to help me with counting my points. I believe his favorite refreshment was a root beer float. We enjoyed many of them while taking a break from the not so serious cribbage games.

I have a guardian angel now, I call him Opa 😇

My dear sweet Opa,

Thank you for all the wonderful memorable experiences. 🐥🐝
I am so very proud to have had you as a Grandfather. I will never forget all that we shared because you can’t forget someone who gave so much to remember. Our bond will never be broken. You will always be in my thoughts and in my heart. Until we meet again, I love you so much and miss you dearly, but I know you will be around. ❤️ ✝️ 🙏🏻

So sorry to all of you..there is no greater loss then a loved one. We find a way to push through the sadness. You find a way to hold on to the great memories you had with your husband, dad, grandpa, and friend..
I know Carl through my bestie Roseanne..He used to be our boss and when he left the building he never knew how much fun we had..but the minute we seen his truck pull up it was back to buisness..I am sorry I will not be there as you say your goodbyes. I will be in Philadelphia. Just know I will be thinking of each and everyone of you..Be strong but most of all be good to each other..you only have one family cherish every minute you have because tomorrow is never promised..Love you all..
