Josh, So sad about your Dad. He was a great colleague at Coldwell Banker. I knew him over 20 years. He was always kind and fun to be around. We crossed paths in our transactions and were always supportive friendly competitors. I’ll miss seeing him. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. He leaves a large memory of goodness.

My sincere condolences to Josh and his family for this terrible loss. I'll always remember Ed as the kind of neighbor anyone would be lucky to have. We had a bad storm hit the area shortly after Ed and his family moved into the neighborhood. I'm getting my chainsaw ready, filling the tanks, gearing up and out of the corner of my eye, here comes Ed with not one saw but TWO!! He'd just finished clearing his yard and downed debris, when he came over to our house and helped me. He said he needed to fill the tanks and he just kept going from house to house to make sure other neighbors were cleared out as well. All I could do was follow in his example of helping others. That's how I'll remember my neighbor, Ed Godbout. RIP neighbor.

My deepest sympathy to all the Godbouts. Ed was a wonderful person and could build a cardboard fort like nobody's business. He's gone far too soon. May many sweet memories of his generous spirit and ready humor give you strength and comfort.

I worked with Ed at the real estate office in Stillwater. Ed was a friendly man. He was not going to be the life of the party but if you were fortunate to sit near Ed at a gathering you were in for a treat. Ed was a great story teller. While I haven’t seen him in several years, I have felt comforted knowing he was out there delighting someone with a well told story. Rest In Peace Ed.

I don't even know where to start with the memories. I met Ed almost 40 years ago. Fishing openers, Twins home openers, hunting openers, putting the dock in and taking it out every year. We experienced a lot of life together but Ed wasn't supposed to leave yet. What a great guy and a great friend. We used to toast Jack on his birthday, I'll toast the both of you buddy. Keep a seat open in the boat for me, hopefully it'll be awhile but...
