John was a close friend throughout high school at Harding. He was always laughing and fun to be around, a good friend and person. I will always remember the night before John went to college and a few of us girls were waving to him as he got in his car and we yelled "Bye John we love you!" I will always remember him that way.

John and I shared some of the best times! Most of my favorite memories from growing up involved John.

John and I played baseball together at Battle Creek from 2nd grade to 8th grade. At that time we were not close friends but enjoyed being close teammates. As we got older, mutual friends brought us closer in high school. Most weekends, we spent a good amount of time having fun and laughing.

After high school, our friendships kept together even though all of us took different college paths and that friendship became stronger after college.

We were together in some of our best memories from getting married or just being around when we were moving friends for "Chipotle!". John was a kind and joyful friend and I will always remember him that way!

Rest in Peace my Friend!

I am so sorry for your loss. John was a friend from the get go at Hill. He was always so kind and fun. We fell out of touch, during our college days, but I will always have fond memories of our time together. Bless you my friend, nothing but love for you.

Fred, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. It is not right in the scheme of things that parents should have to bury their children. My heart is breaking for you. Know you will be in my prayers.
