Joyce was a second mother to me. She lead with humor, joy, and through quiet example. I learned a lot from Joyce and her family. Especially from "Crazy Chris" who taught me to laugh and not take myself so seriously, especially when I felt discouraged. I will never forget all fun and good times, when I was a pre-teen kid who felt lost. Thank you, Joyce, for helping me find my way and my strength. And to you Chris, Kurt (Bun), Laura and Dawn. Missy, you too. Joyce has a special place in Heaven. I am quite sure. There is no one better.

My mom was my rock! She was always there for me and my siblings. She would drop everything whenever you needed her. She was mom to our friends as well. She loved her grandkids and they would do anything for her.

Mom, my heart hurts that you are gone but I know you are with dad, your sister’s, grandma and grandpa. Also, with our Lord and Savior. I Love you and will miss you everyday. Thank you for being my mom.

My mom, or “mommy” as I called her, was the best, hands down. She was the best “Gma” ever and your grandkids adored you.
There are no words to describe how much I will miss her. My heart hurts. But I know she is in a better place and is not suffering anymore.
I love you more than words can say! I will see you again someday. Until then keep watching over us.
Love always,
Dawn

You made me a member of the family. You loved me like one of your own children. I am so glad you were in my life. You were also a wonderful mother in law and grandmother to my husband and children, including us all in family events. I have wonderful memories of us spending time together. Our trips to Illinois, South Dakota and weekend getaways will always be in my heart and mind. Laughing , playing games ,all the holidays and family get togethers will forever be with me. I will miss you more then words can say. I love you with all my heart. I know you are in a wonderful place.

Love you,
Missy

Joyce was one of my best friends for many years. What I loved about Joyce was her honesty, ability to enjoy life to the fullest, a great sense of humor and most of all her love of God. She told me that if she died first she would get me a condo right next to hers in Heaven. Joyce was a beautiful artist creating so many greeting cards (all different) and on my birthday or Christmas she would make me 25 cards for a gift - it put tears in my eyes because I knew all the hours she spent making them.
God certainly created a unique and lovely soul when he made Joyce,
Knowing Joyce made me a much better person because she did rub off on me...……
I already miss you so much Joyce but will always remember the fun times together and our long phone calls every week.
Hugs...…...Your Friend June Bug

My mom was one of a kind - cliche, I know. Mom was my soft place to fall, my mentor, my confidant, and my best friend. How can I possibly live in a world without her smile, laughter - her 'look' that made me feel 10 years old again?

Only through my faith will I feel comfort, knowing she is with Jesus in heaven and dancing with my father again, playing @Dice Game with her sisters and extended family. Her niece Michelle, my cousin, went ahead of her this year to help pave the way!

Mom, you are so loved! But, being your first child of 5, I promise to take care of the 'kids.' I promise to increase my Faith, keep learning about Catholicism and live life through Jesus Christ - as you did. I will never fill her shoes - but, I can follow her teachings and walk a good life with God. I will miss you so much - ALL my love - Christine and Bob Noland
