Aunt Babe was my Godmother and her cheerful disposition was always amazing! Given the size of her own family, I once asked my mom 'where' there'd be room for me if she and dad died and I moved in with Aunt Babe & Uncle Jim ... because when mom and I were at their house, they ate dinner in 'shifts!' (BTW, since my own family was also quite big, I'm sure that Aunt Babe & Uncle Jim would have managed just fine!) Aunt Babe will definitely be missed!

I will truly miss Aunt Babe - she was a kind and gentle soul and the last remaining child of our grandfather George and grandmother Mae Kreager. Being from the "Michigan clan" we didn't see Aunt Babe that often, but whenever we did it was memorable, be it playing baseball, swimming in the ice cube called Superior, or playing cards. I loved the "round robin" letters that would go between the Kreager sisters keeping everyone apprised of their family's coming and goings. All of the Kreager gang and their spouses are together again - I hope dad and Uncle Jim are providing them with some new jokes!!
