Arla C. Stroup

Arla C. Stroup, 77, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Harrison House of Snow Hill, Maryland. She was the wife of the late George V. Stroup, Jr. and the daughter of the late Roger Q. Mills and Christie J. Saetveit Mills. Arla worked in the Clerk’s Office for the Circuit Court for Wicomico County, Maryland, in land records for 17 years before retiring in 2020. She was a member, secretary, treasurer, and Past Commander of the Salisbury Power Squadron. She is survived by her two daughters; Christie Everd and her husband Joe and Gynene Sullivan and her husband Rob; nephews Chuck Drennen and his wife Cara, and Bob Drennen; great-nephew Ben Drennen and his wife Lexi. She was preceded in death by a great-nephew, John Drennen. There will not be any service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Coastal Hospice, or to your local food bank.
